#4. Janice Phillips
Janice was given 30 minutes of photo time at the local hockey arena to execute her fairly complicated double exposure. Then there’s the hours of editing and cutting and pasting when you get back home.
The end is a seamless and polished dream vision of the same girl. This all happens days or weeks in advance. It’s preconceived and handmade and yet looks totally like a slice of reality. This is really beautifully done. The subject is a lot more complicated than one photo can communicate.
