#3. Laureen Dickinson’s daughter
This photograph is thoughtful and brave. Sometimes it’s best if I just keep my mouth closed. Here are Laureen’s words which are as powerful as the photograph:
“Taken this morning by our daughter at the Drs. My husband was just last week diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.
It’s in his spinal column, ribs and pelvis. Also tumors throughout his body. He sees double with blurred vision, dizzy and a headache for the past 3 months straight. It took 4 months to find the cancer because he wasn’t presenting with normal blood tests for cancer. Even after 46 1/2 years of marriage it’s not enough time with him. He is my best friend.”
