#34. Beverly Siegfried

One of a good photographer’s greatest skills is to know how to deal with a long anticipated situation when it decides to turn a corner. Don’t let it get you down. There are so many ways to make something beautiful!

Beverly, if it will make you feel any better, this photograph is probably more beautiful, more memorable, and more precious than anything you would’ve taken at that basement fluorescent lit dance studio recital.

🙂

Here are Beverly’s words:

“This has been my daughter’s first year practicing ballet. For this picture, we had just picked up her recital costume and she was so excited to try it on and practice her favorite moves. Her first recital, if able to go on, will surely look different than what I had envisioned. However, I’m grateful to have stumbled upon this gem location so close to home and to have had the opportunity to make different memories with my daughter for her first recital.”
