48. Patti Gawinski

This black-and-white version almost looks like it was taken with the Hubble Space Telescope, doesn’t it? (I wonder if anyone at Hubble headquarters ever suggested that they convert one of their colorful galaxy pictures to black-and-white? I can dream, can’t I?) But seriously, all those little dots on this plant give it the feeling of a galaxy which is actually so appropriate. Even the smallest little microbes on earth are as amazing as any galaxy in the universe. Some how, for me, converting it to black-and-white just makes it easier to get lost in. This is a beauty, Patti.

This week I’m celebrating some gems from our click start group last week. It was a week of webinars and assignments and reconnecting with lots and lots of old friends. It was really glorious. We’re doing it again soon, I hope. Please stay tuned. This black-and-white conversion by Patti was part of a editing assignment.
