#22 – Kris Trygg Kidd
Kris recently took a class on wildlife photography at the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota. Axel, one of the ambassador Arctic wolves, is looking through the glass at one of the kids visiting the center. I (Nick) once came face-to-face with a full-sized Hollywood Tiger and this photograph captures the feeling that I had as well as anything I’ve ever seen. It was just so absolutely, bizarrely, out-of-this-worldly huge. The Tigers face, that is. Look at how big that Wolf is! Absolutely amazing. Scale is everything here. It’s even more stunning that the boy is closer to the camera than the wolf. Terrific multi-species picture.
