The little boy in red is embracing a beautiful universe of blue – sky and water. Of course, saying it is not the same as seeing it and that’s what we get to do with this photograph.
What a joyful moment has been captured. He’s greeting the Pacific Ocean for the first time. It is so simple and so bold and the color adds, well, a lot. This is really a wonderful childhood photograph. I just love it.
