Description

Join us for a three-day, three-night photography workshop in the rugged beauty of the American Southwest at our 2022 Santa Fe Photography Workshop.

We’ll kick off on the afternoon/evening of Tuesday, September 27 and end on the afternoon of Friday, September 30.

After a welcome dinner and slideshow on Tuesday evening, we’ll spend the next three days shooting photographs. As always with photography, this will all be wrapped up in a discussion about working with, mastering or reviewing your camera settings, lighting, composition, and other tips and techniques. We’ll shoot in various locations around Santa Fe, and we’re going to do our best to find the optimum spots for viewing and photographing the beauty that characterizes the Southwest.  We’ll also spend time reviewing and editing photos during the workshop!

During the workshop, you will get comfortable knowing how to use your camera confidently. You’ll learn to think in terms of photographic communication; You’ll capture stunning vistas and unique details.  You’ll discover how to tap into your inner storyteller. You’ll create images—during the weekend and beyond—that will enrich your life and the lives of the people you love. And you’ll have good old-fashioned fun doing it.

You’ll leave with a re-energized passion for your photography, with deeper photographic knowledge and skills, wonderful new photo-friends, a collection of photographs you’ll be proud of, and the confidence, creativity and control of your camera to consistently shoot the photos you’ve always dreamed of taking.

Want to extend your experience? Join us for an add-on day trip on Saturday, October 1, to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta,  (All transportation and entrance fees are included.)
