Description

Join us in an exciting 3-Day Workshop in The Big Easy… with an optional 1-Day Overnight Add-On Program: “River Road Plantations Photo Tour”

The main workshop will be a three day, three night workshop—headquartered in the heart of the famed French Quarter.

Join us for a truly special experience exploring the many facets of this gem of a city—ranging from the Spanish and French influences in the French Quarter to the elegant homes lining St. Charles Avenue in the Garden District…from the majestic centuries-old live oak trees dripping with Spanish moss in the parks to the somewhat unusual above-ground cemeteries known as the “Cities of the Dead” that are beautiful in their own way.  A city of tradition, history and beauty, all melded together into one beautiful city full of photographic opportunities. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn from my lifetime of shooting photographs, while experiencing one of our country’s most desirable destination cities. Join us here to let the good times—and good photos—roll!

We’ll kick off on the evening of __________ and end by 2PM on _________. Take advantage of your Free Bonus Session by coming early on the first day for your personalized, one-on-one camera-settings checkup.

We’ll spend the three days shooting photographs, working on mastering or reviewing your camera settings, lighting, composition, and other tips and techniques. We’ll shoot in various locations around the city and return to our suite headquarters for photo reviews and editing instruction.

PLUS…You’ll have the option of adding our “Great River Road Plantations Photo Tour!”  This is a 1-Day (including overnight) photography excursion that will give you the chance to venture outside the city to the tour the historic grand old Mississippi River Road plantations. We’ll provide transportation for the one hour trip and visit two plantations—staying overnight at Nottoway, the South’s largest and oldest existing antebellum mansion, and then visiting Oak Alley, the Grande Dame of Great River Road, the next day. We’ll enjoy an historic tour and build in plenty of free time for photography opportunities and teaching exercises around the grounds of these two spectacular sites, each offering a unique experience. The overnight trip ends by 3 PM at the plantations and we can provide your transportation directly to the airport by 4 PM on that day.

Both the main workshop and the add-on excursion will educate, inspire and challenge you. You’ll photograph, explore, play, eat, relax, grow, bond and, I predict, above all else, be absolutely thrilled with how this experience will change your photography.

You’ll gain the skills and confidence to take control of your camera. You’ll enjoy a memorable getaway and return home with those memories beautifully captured in the kind of photographs you’ve always dreamed of shooting—the kind that you’ll now be comfortable shooting consistently, that will enrich your life and the lives of those you love and those you photograph.
